According to an OECD report released today, New Zealand needs to tame its corporate lobbying industry.
Well on the way to match the late-departed British Conservative government for cronyism.
Will the National-led Government listen to the OECD?
You are hilarious Bryce ;)

Just call it corrupt.
They won’t listen or implement any recommendations. The lobbying power is how they manipulated them selves in to power
The voters did that.
We already know all the lobbyists by name and by association.
Many of the most powerful lobbyists are sucking on the taxpayer teat.
They can implement all the lobbying rules suggested and we will move closer the OECD average! Great outcome, right!
A majority of voters in NZ are poorly informed and easily misled by coordinated media attacks paid for by the few to control the many. Sounds entirely fair and reasonable?
Very few voters are well informed about policies.
Supporting a political party that suppresses information of outcomes is a dead giveaway.
So yes, your argument is fair and reasonable.
Does this sound like Fonterra, telling farmers to 'toe the line' because Nestle and others say so!
Does this sound like AgriZero trying to bully the farmers for no good scientific reason at all?
I am sure there are other examples of NZ organisations that our MPs need to talk too and ensure there is a change for the better.
