Hmmm... I thought the message was "NOT stepping down ..." ??? Bit premature in terms of speculation then? I get the point about the Greens' leadership requirement, and personally have no problem with it. Most who are diagnosed early fully recover and sincere hopes Marama will continue to be a force for good in Parliament and out for many many years.

I read your now deleted comment Mike. Here's a tip: don't write when you're angry; all anyone reading it will see is the anger. And don't disrespect your own words by being intemperate with their use - it diminishes you.

There's a big difference between "critical commentary" and unhinged rant.

I know for an absolute fact that breast cancer is a blip......a fairly big blip, BUT it is not the end. Marama will be treated and she will return to her role. Hundreds of women do this.
